I can take up to 20 alternates. Every wrestler, even alternates, will get matches. During each dual there is an alternate wrestling area where alternates match up and wrestle. There are 35 plus teams and they all take alternates so they are matched up each round. You might get as many as 9 matches! We will use the alternates in the duals to give guys a rest too.

I will need a couple of dads to be in charge of the alternates and getting them matches as well as coached.

I assume they go with the weight they entered the original tourn. What is the cost, when do they need to be there, singlets? Do you suppose there are any hotels left? thanks

I have one extra room at the Adventure land let me know if anyone needs it.

Five alternates will be assigned to each team. I will spread them out so that we can insert them in the event of fatigue or injury. They will receive the same gear. Cost is the same. Everything is the same except they will be used as a backup and they will get matches in the alternate room. As many as they want!

IF we are looking for alternates, why aren't the 5th place finishers receiving a priority here?

I have to return to Kansas Saturday night to get Luke's sister to a State FCCLA STAR event competition and in time to watch the oldest daughter star in the high school drama production on Sunday afternoon. My husband, Mike, wants to stay in Iowa to finish out the weekend. Is anyone willing to let Mike hitch a ride back to Lawrence with them on Sunday afternoon so he can stay to watch the competition rather than have to ride back on Saturday afternoon/evening with me? Please PM if you can help out. And, yes, he'd be willing to help with gas to get back home.
