I guess Gardner/Edgerton is too far away from the center of the universe to make the SUN list at any weights. LOL

Yeah Olathe must be to far out as well

What are the qualifications for the All-SUN team? Is this an official league?

Mill Valley too far out as well? They also did not do much research and only went off of state placings. There are kids that lost head to head vs. kids they have below them. If you are ranking across classes you can't use only state placings as you criteria.

And Chad I believe that is people within the Sun newspaper coverage area whatever that is.

The Sun’s sports staff selected the team based on tournament results.

The Sun only considered state-qualifying wrestlers with winning records for honorable mention.

Throughout the 2009-2010 school year The Sun's sports staff considers for All-Sun team inclusion the five Shawnee Mission and four Blue Valley high schools, as well as Bishop Miege, Kansas City Christian, Maranatha Academy, St. James Academy and St. Thomas Aquinas. The Sun's sports staff determines prior to each new school year which schools will receive All-Sun inclusion for that school year based on The Sun's circulation areas.

Now we know. Congrats to all the kids who are listed. It's publicity for wrestling which is good.

So if you want a chance to be on the list next year, talk to your neighbors and buy up "The Sun". Good Marketing!

publicity for wrestling is always good. I don't think it would be worth it to subscribe to the SUN. Steve Rose leans so far to the left he is standing up.
