I was thinking of moving my son down a weight class but was wondering if this will affect his record when it comes to sub-district seeding time. Any insight would be great. Thanks

no, his record stays the same no matter whut weightclass he is in, they go by his record this year in kansas tounreys, however, it might hurt him whne it comes down to the wire, he hasnt wrestled any of the kids so he might get the lower seed if they both have the same record

You can move down in weight and keep a record but you can not move up, thats the way it has been in the past.
