The training site at Wichita Heights has been moved. It will now take place at Valley Center High School. Due to Budget cuts in USD 259, the facility can no long be used without a contract etc.

The same people will be running the Training Site with the addition of Brian Shelton and possibly Jacob Klein.

Training session will be:
Sunday May 2, 2010
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Valley Center High School

Coach I'm curious what USD 259 charges to use a room under contract? This past season I heard of clubs having to pay hourly fees for wrestling room use and I'm curious what your district is charging.

Well, in our district... there is a clause that was put in many years ago that clubs for USD 259 school do not have to pay fees. So clubs such as TOHK only have to get a contract and the fee is waived. I believe the typical fee for sports such as basketball and volleyball is $66 per hour (roughly)

However, since the training sites are not "organized clubs" we would have to get a contract and pay fee's. Also, USD 259 is doing building shutdowns from Friday-Sunday all summer long. Nobody in (period). So we needed to find a new place regardless!
