At the Flint Hills tournament today they did a round robin stlye bracket at all weights. In the 189 bracket there were three wrestlers that finished with a 4-1 record, Farner from Circle, Hillman from Halstead and Dunkelberger from Cheney. it was said that the tiebreaker would be who had the most pins.. well all three wreslters had three pins. then they said it would go down to who beat who by how many points.. here is the match scores
Farner- 4
Dunkelberger- 5
Dunkelberger- 1
Hillman- 2
Farner- 3
Hillman- 1
so
dunkelberger lost to hillman by 1, beat farner by 2
farner lost to dunkelberger by 1, beat hillman by 2
hillman lost to farner by 2, beat dunkelberger by 1
so they ruled
Farner got 1st
Dunkelberger 2nd
Hillman 3rd
now Hillman beat Dunkelberger but placed lower and Dunkelberger beat Farner and placed lower.. did they get this correct? if not how should the tiebreaker have gone?
