So Ryne Cokeley is now going to wrestle Hattabaugh, since Penka didn't show due to injury.

I believe they scored it 18-16 in favor of "bigs"
They didn't score matches that had wrestlers of same class. i.e. Cokeley v. Hattabaugh (which by the way was a great match) ryne had 2 slick ducks. Hattabaugh in deep a few times but couldn't finish. Keiswetter and Baird was awesome too. Some great scrambles all around tonite.

Some thoughts on the dual-
Hats off to these studs for stepping up- a lot of KS elites didn't show for various reasons...

Gentzler- what a great overall athlete; with some good coaching at ASU I think he has some fantastic potential

DeShazer- again, one of KS best, but he still needs to learn to wrestle on the mat if he wants to take it to the next level, guys that wrestle mainly on their feet often take some serious lumps at the next level

Strauss- has been hitting his stride lately. A rematch with Blackwell at this point would be interesting; Don't know if he is yet at the level of LamBotte or Tannenbaum but he really has peaked nicely towards the end of the year. Will surprise some people if he wrestles this summer

Graves- to me the biggest upset taking it to Little. Little had a great season and I'd like to see both these guys wrestle this Summer

Cokeley- impressive in stepping it up at the last moment. Really had everything to loose and not much to gain; a nice win in reestablishing himself as truly one of Chief's top 5 guys. Needs to continue to be aggressive and can hopefully bring home some hardware at Va. Beach

Omli and Salmans- 2 of the most overlooked guys in the state with regards to publicity. Could make a legitimate argument that they are in the running for Chief's top 5. Again, it would be nice to see these guys wrestle this Summer

. Me too. Big schools would cry though. If they can't come up with a wrestler that's too bad. Small schools get the short end once again. Tell me y not count cokelys win for the small schools because no big school kid could beat him anyways. ?? And 35 and 40 and hvy wht. Biased big school win. True score little school wins. . So basically 3 little school wins were not counted. That's not how a dual is scored. No wrestler no points, in fact 6 for the oppossing team. Little schools win. Do you think this could be manipulated any more? I should know seeing how on my team we never won a dual due to only filling half a team. Get real or call it something other then big vs little.

Actually, I think it was 18-16 going into the last match, which a small school HWT won by pin. I thought the "majority little school" team won if I remember correctly
