Please explain the new weigh in procedure. Will they be calling the kids down by age, or by age and weight. If you have a high school aged wrestler does he need to be in the stands by 4 or will that be the last age group called and by 5 will be safe. Very unclear in the state info flyer

I will let the experts confirm this, but from what I understand they are running a scale for 8,10,12,14,HS starting at 4 from the lowest weight and going up to the top.

They will be starting one scale per division at the lowest weight. The wrestlers will be called to weigh in. IF you miss your first time around they will start over at the lowest weight and continue circling through until weigh in is over.

It rocked, there were nothing but a few trickling in after the first 40 minutes.

I am sorry for doubting the commitee that made this changes!

Really enjoyed weigh in this year!! Kudos to the committee on this change! Our club had 11 wrestlers, we were there at 4 when they started calling the kids to the scale and we were done with all of them by 5. WOW!!!!!

I got you all beat, dropped the kid off at 3:58, went and parked, kid was done and eating a burger by the time I got inside. Spent more food looking for him then anything.
