Kansas Wrestling Community,

The Wichita State Wrestling Club will start competing again during the 2011-2012 school year. We wish to wrestle a full schedule, but in order for this to happen we need your help.

We are conducting a fundraiser at Chili’s in Wichita located at Central and Rock on Tuesday May 10 from 5-10:30pm. The restaurant has graciously agreed to donate a proceeds of their profit from the evening to our cause. In order for us to receive anything you must take in our flyer.

We hope to have locations around town within the next few days so people can go there and will notify everyone as to where. We understand that all of you wont be able to attend, but would still like to support our cause. I realize that this thread is kind of dead, but I just thought that I would throw this out there anyway. We have recently thrown together a website for the new Wichita State Wrestling Team. Feel free to check it out!

Shocker Wrestling

We are still looking for any possible support as we approach the upcoming season. We have nearly put together a full time (1 open weight class) in a very short amount of time. We would love for this team to be able to wrestle some duals and decent tournament schedule, in order to do this we will need some financial support.

We appreciate any advice or support you could lend us!
