Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle Liberty Nationals on TV?

Were the Liberty Nationals supposed to be televised? If so did we miss it or not? Would like to see it if it hasn't run yet.

Where did you hear about that? I didn't see any tv ppl there exept for parents taping their kids matches.

Metro sports was to film some of it, according to Bill Gosset on the Missouri USA Wrestling site. Just wondering if it has been shown.

I believe I did see some TV people there. As congested as that place was on Saturday, it seems like it would have been pretty difficult to film specific matches. Maybe they did on that side of the gym where the 14 & unders were wrestling. If they did film, you probably have not missed it yet. I would check with the station to see when they plan to broadcast it. The tournament director, Bill, is very helpful and might be able to give you that information too.

Called Metro Sports they were kinda vague. Said if it wasn't on last night maybe it will be on tonight at 6PM Metro Sports Talk or 10PM Metro Sports Zone. Channel 68 in Kansas Channel 30 Time Warner Cable? And 44 in Missouri? they said the 10PM repeats several times at 1030PM 11PM 1130PM Maybe see the hightlights? Thanks Bill Gossett great tournament!
