Congratulations to Corey Burton and the Hillsboro Takedown Club over a well run tournament this weekend. I really like the concept of an early tournament that emphasises takedowns. Also, the 5-man round-robin brackets are a great way to give everyone lots of mat time.

I agree. It seemed to go very well with plenty wrestling for everyone!

Thanks Mike. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the great help we had in running our tournament. Our parents, high school wrestlers, and other supporters did an outstanding job. As we all know, it takes a lot of good help to run a tournament.

Thanks to all of the clubs that attended and we hope to see you next year.

This was a fun tournament and it was great to see wrestling taking off the way it is in Hillsboro. Super nice facility and friendly people. I've already advocated to our club to send more people here next year.

I would also like to say that WHY Wrestling had a very good time we have always liked the take down venue. It is our pick since we lean more toward freestyle/greco. Let us know if we can help anytime to increase your tournament. Also a big thanks on announcing about the girls team and considering a girls division next year. Good luck and success during the rest of the season.
