Just looking at the schedules GE Tournament has added two Iowa teams:

Attending this year: Baldwin, Bishop Carroll, Blue Valley, Gardner Edgerton, Iowa City West Iowa,Joplin Mo, Lawrence Free State, Olathe North, Olathe NW, Pittsburg, Platte County Mo, Shawnee Mission East, Southeast Polk Iowa, St. James Academy, Topeka Seaman, Topeka Washburn Rural,

Good way to start the season!

Did Glenwood, IA drop out? They have attended the Bobcat for several years and were always pretty successful.

Valley Center Dual Tournament added Goodard. Clay Center is attending the Bobcat Classic this season for the first time. The Bobcat added Collinsville, Oklahoma. They were 5A State Champs last season.

Glenwood, IA is still in the Bobcat. The Collinsville, OK team were the state dual team champs and have several state champs on the team. Platte Co. has some very tough kids including 3x state champ Skyler Wood. Blue Springs joined last year and it really tough, plus Oak Park and several tough KS teams.

Iowa City West is brutal and will no doubt impact the GE tournament.

Southeast Polk will be in the running with IC West at GE. Two very tough 3A (Big Class) schools.

Skutt has Thomas Gilman among others. He just gave verbal to University of Iowa, 2x fargo champ and ranked #1 in the country in his weight. It will be interesting to see if Cory Clark of SE Polk and Gilman are in the same weight. Both have signed with Iowa. Clark is 3x undefeated Iowa state champ.

Both 125. However in my opinion Clark will be bigger in college and probably end up wrestling 133 or even 141.

Jack Hathaway from Iowa City West might be there too! Also at 170, we might see Wisconsin signee Justin Koethe and Missouri signee Willie Miklus. WOW!!!!

Chief Miklus was at the fall brawl wrestling 220. Koethe is going to pull down to 160 for high school season.

I kinda thought Koethe would go up at this tournament though? Wow, Miklus did weigh in at 211 on Saturday and went 171 last year. So he's projected at 197 for MO?

Kind of funny actually Hathaway, Clark and Gilman have worked out together for years off and on. Now they all come to Gardner, KS to be in the same weight.

He might we will see I guess. Intermat Says 197. He gets bigger and bigger every time I see him. He wrestled and beat Daniel Deshazer one year at cadet duals. That was in 2008 and he wrestled 119.
