He is at the top of some rankings and he earned Wrestler of the week for USA Wrestling.

Ranked #1 in what I would call the toughest weight class this year. He's wrestling very well!

Anybody know when the last time a Kansas HS guy was ranked #1 in Division 1? Bunch may have been, Akin may have been...can't think of any others.

Was the last Champ Melvin Douglas in the 80's?
