The administration at FSHS has agreed to utilize Trackwrestling for their 4A Regional tournament as a supplement to the KSHSAA supplied "Wrestling Tourney" software.
Athletic Director Larry Fink has seen first hand how fan friendly and worker friendly the software is and is committed to providing for our regional, and others interested, the highest quality experience possible. After contacting KSHSAA Director Mark Lentz, a blessing was bestowed that allowed FSHS to use track as long as the "Wrestling Tourney" was also used to provide consistent information that will be fed into the following week's State Tournament. So I guess we are a PILOT program. We hope all wrestling fans will find time to log on to www.trackwrestling.com and keep up to date with live match action and team scores.

I'm obviously a supporter of TrackWrestling, having evaluated "Wrestling Tourney" thoroughly several years ago prior to making the decision to adopt TrackWrestling for use in club tournaments in our state. Recently, the NCAA announced that they will be using TrackWrestling for their championships this year. I think it is a clearly superior product.

This is great news; appreciate Fort Scott taking the lead and willing to keep a "double set of books."

Good job Coach Brown! Track is way of the future for wrestling! Hopefully a proposal can be made to utilize this great wrestling tool for all regionals and the state tournament next year.

Yes they will be using matside scoring. Also they will have a screen up in the gym that will show who is wrestling on what mat, who is on deck and who is the hole.
