Is anyone from the Western or even central part of the state planning on going to Virginia Beach? Albers is planning on going and I'm trying to see if we can get some sort of workout schedule going for the Western Kansas wrestlers. Newton is a long way to travel for practice 3 times a week. Either respond to this thread or PM me if you know of someone going from the area.

Luke Hayes and Clay Mulligan from Scott City are planning on going. Let us know what you have in mind and we will see if we can't get something worked out with you for some workouts.

It's great that we have some interest from "out west!" I've heard that Kriss is going and that Herl is going out as a Junior!!

Alright, I spoke with Coach Gonzalez from Colby Community College and he is willing to host some practices for the area wrestlers going to nationals. These would take place during the kids practices at Colby High School. Schedule would be:
Monday: 7-8
Tuesday: 7-8:30
Thursday: 7-8:30
Coach Gonzalez would be a great resource for the men heading to Virginia Beach. If anyone is interested in practicing on Wednesday or Friday we can do those in Oakley or possibly Colby depending on how many are interested. Let me know when you plan to make it as I would like to let Coach know how many are coming. He also mentioned that if you want to come early he'd work with you before practice starts, just needs to know when you're coming. Let me know.
