Does anyone plan to go to this and is it really worth the trip. This is the week after State meet in Iowa. If a team is planning to go we'd like an opportunity to tag along. Thanks, Troy Fowler
It's the best tournament of the year. Great competition,great facility and trackwrestling. They keep their matrix open so you can see all entrants up until the deadline. Tougher than Roller tournaments. There will be a lot of Kansas kids there.
great tournament! we've went 3 times my son has placed 2nd and 5th. Everybody gets to wrestle on full mats!! The sessions go by quick. Be sure and check out the wrestling hall of fame. One year Dan Gable was there and we were able to get pics and autographs.
This is probably my favorite tournament of the year. -wrestling in the dome is awesome -competition is just as good as Roller events -full brackets (most of the time 30-50+ kids) -full mats for everyone -you are able to watch the cadet and junior division even with kids (some of the top kids in the country)
I like this as well as pre-season nationals both same place and both great events.
