Ever heard of the Spladle or Cement Mixer? These moves were invented by master pinner and 4x NCAA Champ Wade Schalles. Wade will be here this July for the 2012 World Class Team Wrestling Camp.

Council Bluffs, IA will once again be the host location for the World Class Team Wrestling Camp with featured clinician Wade Schalles, as well as Eric Akin. Also other NCAA Champions, former World Team Members and hopefuls, and College and High School Coaches.

This world class Team Technique/ Competition Camp is designed for the wrestler looking to out-train his competition during the off season, and ensure himself a spot on the awards stand next season. This camp will blend technique training sessions with world class competitors/ coaches, with 3-4 live matches per day in our team dual competition format. Wrestlers from age 9 and up will realize the benefits of this camp, which will focus on the development of elementary, junior high, and high schools wrestlers. The goal of this camp is to teach new and reinforce old, high percentage wrestling techniques, while gaining almost a half of a season worth of live match experience.

Teams with more than 10 wrestlers will receive a reduced camper rate: $260 for resident, $160 for commuter. All team discounted entries must be received in one envelope.

NOTE: A wrestler does not have to attend with a team. Those who attend as individuals will be assigned to a team for dual matches. The rate for these wrestlers is $285 for resident and $185 for commuter.

World Class treatment for residents w/ accommodations @ Springhill Suites by Marriott

***This is the most affordable camp of its kind***

Wade Schalles (born September 9, 1951, in Altoona, Pennsylvania) is an American amateur wrestler, a two-time NCAA National Champion who holds multiple records in the sport including holding the Guinness Book of World Records title for most amateur wrestling wins and pins, and is the creator of several of wrestling's most notorious moves - including the Spladle[1] and the Cement Mixer.[2]

I think your post should read 2x NCAA champion...

@Alex- wikipedia? come on your better than that

from Wade himself

Depends upon what you think . . . I won 2 College Division and 2 University Division championships. Back then D-II and D-III were combined and called the College Division. The University Division is today's D-I tournament.

Hope that helps so 2 and 4 are both correct.

That's what I figured was missing. I wondered if it wasn't back when the D-I/II/III, etc. champion could still compete in the "Div. I" tournament, thus the 4x designation.
