Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle Kids Board Term Limits!

The kids executive board is meeting on September 9. I was happy to see that there is a proposal on their agenda for there to be term limits for the Kids Executive Board. The proposal is for a six year limit and then that person must step down for two years. I think six years is long enough. There are several board members that have served on the board for 15 years and longer. New blood and new ideas are always good.

Have any of those long serving members had challenges for their position? I don't recall many votes over the course of 20+ years that were not for the entire board to be retained. It's not like people are climbing over each other trying to take a seat. I have never been for term limits either in government or in this case because I don't want someone taking the vote out of my hands.
