i would like to say thank you. when you go to a tournament with this caliber of competition you would hope that the refs are more knowledgable during the match, the problem that i have is the simple fact that they need to know the difference between red and green and award the points to the right kid wrestling. i do not mind when a kid gets beat but when they get beat because of crappy officiating that is very upseting. this tournament is the tournament of champions we need to look at the whole scenerio, if you can not keep up with the match do not ref. i would hope that in the future lets do a better job at this. i just watched my sons match on video and i had it scored 15-9 but he had it tied up 12-12, he awarded the wrong points to the wrong kid and i questioned him and did nothing. went to overtime had the take down got the takedown and then got reversed but no points where awarded to my kid but as soon as the kid reversed him he got his 2 points and won the match. IT IS WHAT IT IS WE KNOW WHO WON THAT MATCH AND SO DOES HIS OPPONENT BUT DO NOT PUNISH THE KIDS IF YOUR NOT CAPABLE OF FOLLOWING A CLOSE MATCH AT A VERY INTENSE TOUGH TOURNAMENT. BOB VERY GOOD TOURNAMENT BUT MIGHT WANT TO LOOK AT GETTING MORE VETEREN REFS FOR THE FUTURE.
