We will be issuing coach cards. They are free to those with a current USA Coaching Card and Bronze Card.

If you don't have one or the other or both, we are going to be making an exception. Since this is the first time we have held this tournament, many of you are very new to the sport, some of the club coaches don't want to attend because it is Sunday and only one age group, etc. We will issue you a coach card for $10.

Each coach will be required to have a pass to get on the floor. As usual, there will be a limit of 2 coaches for each competitor.

If an official determines a coach has been out of line your coach card will have a hole punched in it by the official. If you get two holes you will no longer be allowed on the arena floor.

Please be on your best behavior. It is 6U wrestling.

Do we have to have both cards? I myself have a USAW Coaches card and have completed the Bronze class in January but have not received my bronze card in the mail yet. I have been told that they are running behind on getting the cards out. Is there going to be a list that you can look at to see if coaches like myself have completed the bronze certification?

I will gain access to a list. If you have completed the required course I should be able to verify this.

While I agree w/ making the exception for the Bronze Card, I don't know if I agree w/ making an exception for a USAW Wrestling Card. That kinda opens up things to people who have not passed any sort of background check on to the floor.

There will be adequate supervision on the floor. I felt it was more important to error on the side of permitting an opportunity to participate than not. Many of these parents will have been involved with USA wrestling for only a few months. Next year we will require both but this will give an entire season for the parents and coaches to obtain these.

This should be entertaining!!!!

I am going to be more interested in watching the parents coach their kids/wrestlers (especially in the finals matches). Should be some youtube worthy moments if you know what I mean, haha!!

See Y'all bright and early Sunday morn.
