Chicken wing 1/2 Nelson. Legal or illegal in Kansas? College is using it. Just curious.

This is addressed in the rule book in the picture section, it's legal until the wing is rotated towards the shoulder putting pressure on the joint. It is a potentially dangerous situation as mentioned, but should be watched closely as it can become illegal very quickly.
