75% on both individual and team titles. I'd say that's pretty good. 6A 170 only had one kid that had a very dominant record (Clothier) and it had a lot of parity so i can see a lower ranked wrestler coming out of there. I was surprised to see Clothier get stuck in the semis.

Having done some math- In 6A 32% (27/84) of the wrestlers placed where they were ranked in the final prestate rankings and in 5A 34% (29/84). Hard thing to predict. My son always placed higher than he was ranked- must of used it for incentive.

3A: #1 ranked kids won 9 weights. 3rd ranked won 106#, 4th ranked won 120#, 2nd ranked won 170#, 2nd ranked won 195%, and 5th ranked kid won 220#.
I'd like to point out that of the wrestles who were ranked coming into the 321A tournament, 83.3% placed. There were only 14 wrestlers who were unranked that placed and of those 14 unranked wrestlers only 6 were not ranked at some point in the season. Of those 6 only 1 wrestler finished higher than 5th with Lucas Engel of Norton taking 4th at 220 over two wrestlers he had finished behind at Regionals. While it is difficult to project what will happen at state with the rankings I think it was a fairly accurate gauge of what to expect or at least who to look out for at the end of the season. Congrats to all of the state placers and qualifiers this season.

Wyatt, I was coming home from state with Brett and we were talking about how we used to do rankings. I was bragging that we picked 82% of the placers one year. And now, you are the best that has ever been! Superstar!
It’s a great day to be alive

6A: #1 ranked kids won 12 weights. 6th ranked kid won 170# and 3rd ranked kid won 220#.
5A: #1 ranked kids won 11 weights. 2nd ranked kid won 113#, 3rd ranked kid won 126#, and 3rd ranked kid won 138#.
4A: #1 ranked kids won 10 weights. 3rd ranked kid won 120#, 2nd ranked won 132#, 4th ranked won 195#, and 4th ranked won 285#.
3A: #1 ranked kids won 9 weights. 3rd ranked won 106#, 4th ranked won 120#, 2nd ranked won 170#, 2nd ranked won 195%, and 5th ranked kid won 220#.
In team rankings, the #1 ranked team won all classes except 4A where Holton was ranked #9. Here is the breakdown going off of the 84 possible state placers in each classification: 6A: 19 unranked wrestlers placed, 77.4% of ranked wrestlers placed 5A: 14 unranked wrestlers placed, 83.3% of ranked wrestlers placed 4A: 20 unranked wrestlers placed, 76.2% of ranked wrestlers placed 321A: 14 unranked wrestlers placed, 83.3% of ranked wrestlers placed The 5A and 4A rankings both had ties at some weights, but I did not count those wrestles towards the percentages. So if you were ranking the rankings it would go: 1st: 321A 2nd: 5A (It was a push at #1, but there were two ties in 5A which would have added two wrestlers to the 84 possible placers in the rankings) 3rd: 6A 4th: 4A Also, Ron Burgundy you are one heck of a news anchor. I can't wait for your latest documentary to come out. You stay classy San Diego!

His time will come. Bronson

Are these the final rankings? Credit where credit is due--Burly at 126 should be ranked above us--he beat us twice this year.

Thank you, Mr. Bobby. The sequel is slated for December 2013. Look me up if your NASCAR adventures ever lead you to San Diego. It was discovered by the Germans in 1904. They named it San Diego, which of course in German, means....... Well, you know the rest.
To all you Rankers, you can honestly say, "Don't act like you're not impressed."
