mayes better watch out for scott elliot and Ryan Norton. Elliot took 2nd at tulsa nationals and Norton took 1st and Wichita this weekend. Also, Derek Graves took 3rd at wichita he will be tough to beat.

thanks Robin, my son is Jed from manhattan. did you see any of the matches at 105 in wichita. can you tell me about any other 105's in d4. I think top spot is between Derek and Elliot, others Iv,e seen are mayes, rosenhammer, nelson d1, sherwood, and bersuch. Jed's goal has been to place this year which is a tough goal. he'll have to wrestle better than he ever has to win against any the last five i mentioned. And from what i've seen this year these young men have the best character and sportsmanship i've had the pleasure to watch. Tell derek good luck from me, and all the others good luck also. I think that any young man that can make it to State has made a huge acomplishment. Any info will be appreciated. Jim Sicard

Thanks for the boost of convidence in Derek.
I can't tell you much about the kids at 105 because he has been wrestling at 115 and 110.
He will have to wrestle better than he did at the classic. I hope that was his bad day. I think it will be a tough bracket and I will give all the kids in that group a pat on the back because they will have to give it there best. Good luck at state. I will let you know how sub district 4
turns out.

Look at dist 2 for at least 4 possibilities for placing at 105 that dist is a very tough dist.

District 4 - North: A.J. Stephens - Goodland will also be one to watch in this weight in my opinion.

we dont know if scott will be at state. there will most likely be plenty of other wrestlers in his subdistrict, or district who will want to express their opinions, as to who goes to state.
since he has wrestled no kansas tournaments, we have seen only a limited number of kansas kids. he, or i am making any assumeptions, he will have to earn his way to the state tournament.
with this said. scott will be going to subdistrics at 105 lbs.
