Folkstyle Wrestling Dual Tournament

Where: Warsaw High School When: Saturday, July 20th

Eligibility /Division - Must be at least an incoming Freshman, High School 9th - 12th Grade ( Outgoing Seniors are Eligible ) ( Insurance will be Provided Although each participant will need to sign a waiver)

Weights - 110, 118, 125, 133, 142, 152, 165, 185, 205, 285 ( Alternates Allowed ) ( 5lb allowance )

Registration - Tournament Fee $300 ( Insurance included ) All teams must mail entry fee to secure entry to the tournament, only the first 16 teams will be accepted, Roster should include participants and Coaches. Club teams are welcome.

Weigh-Ins - 7:30 am Saturday or 5:00pm-6:00pm Friday , there will be a 5lb weight allowance

Location - Warsaw High School, 20363 Lane of Champions, Warsaw, MO 65355

Date & Time - Saturday July 20th, 9:00am - 6:00pm, or until wrestling is completed, Building will be open at 7:00am

Format - There will be a Gold & Silver Pool. In those pools there will be A & B Pools (4 teams each) they will wrestle round robin then be put into a 8 team bracket and wrestle out to 3rd place. (5 - 7 Duals Total)

Match Length - 1:30 - 1:30 - 1:30, Backside of Bracket will be 1:00, 1:00. 1:00 HS OT rules will apply

Team Awards - The top team in each pool (Gold/Silver) will take home T-Shirts, Champion will be determined by record, head to head, total team points, most matches won, most falls, then most takedowns.

We have already filled half of the available slots for the tourney...the competition seems to become better every year and this year will be no different as we have already added out of state teams from Illinois, Kansas and Texas. Below are teams that are confirmed and some that are interested. Remember this year we will be running a Gold & Silver pool so we will be able to regulate the competition level.

Hey guys I just wanted to post an update on the tournament. We have added a few more teams and there are only 3 spots left for entries. It is filling up fast and the competition level rises each time a new team is added.
