I called La Quinta today as I had not received a room confirmation. Found my room and found out the price went from 80 with 11.96 in taxes to 126 dollars because they were full the manager explained.
How does the group of state representatives that voted on having the tournament in Dodge City deal with price changes like this?

The liaison between the Southern Plains and Chamber of Commerce contacted the hotel for me and they changed the hotel bill back to the original agreement today.

I think NEXT year the hotel prices should be negotiated by the Southern Plains Committee and the fee listed for each hotel willing to participate in the agreement several months in advance on the wrestling entry. This would guarantee that those hotels that worked with the wrestlers and their families would make money.
