Maize may be be too far from K.C. Head to head is number one for seeding why not for ranking?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Wilgers from Maize just beat Weil from Dodge City, Pelfrey from BVSW and Mottl (sp) from Grand Island on the way to the finals at Newton. How can you beat someone and them get moved from 7th to 5th while you are ranked 9th. Come on Chief head to head is criteria 1 isn't it? I had that switched already but failed to copy it here that way. It is not always as easy as saying head to head! There are many times other wrestlers involved in the decision, making it a triangle choice. Let me ask you, should Whitson, Marco Perez and Frame be ranked above Wilgers? They all beat him.... yet they also have losses that hurt their ranking.

Brock and Wilgers wrestled 7-6 also. Brock is ranked nationally at 132lbs. Next.

Then didn't Weil beat Hollingsworth? But dang Hollingsworth is from SME. All of these guys have wrestled many more matches. Whitson beat Wilgers. Weil pinned Whitson. Perez beat Wilgers. Perez got majored by Frame. I could go on and on. What you cannot justify is the distance the school is from where I live. Hollingsworth is above Pelfrey and Pelfrey is above Weil. Why would I have Brandon Ball or Wuthnow ranked so high? Aren't they too far?

Hollingsworth beat Lisher, so you can't really move him below Lisher.

But I would think you kind of could because Lisher finished 3rd at the Bobcat. I would think with Newton and the Bobcat being much tougher than other tourneys that based on the most recent results 126 could easily go- 1. Deshazer 2. Cokely 3. Frame 4. Wilgers 5. Lisher
Just a thought.

I'm sure you were going to notice this soon, but you have Weisner from Plainville ranked at both 170 and 182. I think he has been at 170 for most of the year, but did wrestle 182 this past weekend at Russell. Looking at the results, he may have done that for a bit more competition.

I think that is right. Wiesner wrestled Deterding of Hays in a dual at 182 as well (one of his losses) but for the most part he has been at 170

Once again we will be taking two full dual teams to the Rocky Mountain Nationals in Denver on March 14-16. After the final All-Class rankings are posted, formal invitations will go out, starting with the #1 ranked wrestler and moving down the list as needed to fill the teams.
We are the defending champions of the tournament and it is one of my favorite events of the year! Some have wrestled 12-13 matches! This will be our 4th consecutive year taking Team Kansas to the Rockies!
