How are regionals decided?

Last year they came out the 1st week of practice. Who is involved, is it only based on proximity?

I had heard that they will follow the girls volleyball regionals?

I've seen worse for 5A and 6A

Dodge City, Garden City, Haysville Campus, Hutchinson, Maize, Wichita-North, Wichita-Northwest, Wichita-South


Derby, Junction City, Lawrence-Free State, Manhattan, Topeka, Topeka-Washburn Rural, Wichita-East, Wichita-Southeast


Gardner-Edgerton, Kansas City-Wyandotte, Lawrence, Olathe-East, Olathe-North, Olathe-Northwest, Olathe-South, Shawnee Mission-Northwest

Same with weight information, Missouri and others list weights certified on trackwrestling for the entire rosters.
