Hey chief ya might rethink the team rankings. Salina Central is undefeated in dual competition and took down no.10 blue valley southwest last Thursday. They also have dual wins against Derby and Maize who are both in your 6a rankings.

Duals and Tournaments are scored way to differently to be able to compare them. A good Dual Team is not always a good Tournament Team and Vice Versa.

Well how is the rankings run? Is it duals or Tourneys? Took down #7 Newton tonight and won ark valley league undefeated, enough said I suppose! If its a TEAM Ranking then It should be Team vs. team results not tourney individual results!!!

Clearly the rankings are based off of how well your tournament team is not your dual team. You can't base your team rankings off of how well you do in duals because we don't have a dual state championship. Therefore, it should continue to be a result of tourney results and not dual results.

Team rankings are done based of of tournament format. A team may have a very strong lineup but no champions and they will finish behind a team not as deep but with a couple of champions and a little help from a couple of other wrestlers. If Kansas had a dual state then the rankings would probably be different.

106 Logan Treaster #2 ranked 5A, 182 Jared Langley #2 ranked 5A, 195 Heydon Mock #5 Ranked 5A, 220 Noah Ornelas #6 ranked 5A, 285 Ray Gallegos #2 ranked 5A. Your dual accomplishments are something to be proud of but as previously said it's about the tournaments.

Many of these wrestlers are on the same side of the bracket. I ranked them based on the criteria that I collected, not based on where they are in the state bracket. As an example, if the top two wrestlers are on the same side, obviously they cannot place 1st and 2nd.
