Also new this year the tournament will be live on trackwrestling, allowing you to track brackets online as they update and see scores as they happen. Last years tournament drew entries from 80 teams from Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa. With 101 National Medalists, and 119 State Medalists. There will be lots of great wrestling again this year. Get your entries in before January 1, 2014.
Don't forget the true 2nd place challenge. If the 3rd place finisher has not wreslted and lost to the 2nd place finisher that day. The 3rd place finisher can challenge the 2nd place finisher for the 2nd place spot. The 2nd place finisher cannot refuse the challenge.
If you are hesitant to sign-up due to the low numbers on the matrix on trackwrestling you will be mistaken. In 24 hours the numbers have gone up 8 times what they were. In the final days of registration it will grow by 10 times per day as it did last year. Most clubs will not enter until the deadline as many parents hate to pay for something that far in advance with the way kids get sick on the drop of a dime. So please don't let the matrix numbers discourage you!
