Does KSHSAA have a minimum weight requirement in order to wrestle?

Nope no minimum weight requirement to wrestle 106 lbs. or 113 lbs.
Now there is a requirement that you can't wrestle more than one weight class above the weight you qualify for at weigh-in.
Example to wrestle 126 lbs. you must qualify as a 120 lbs. wrestler. Meaning at weigh-in you must weigh 113.1

I think my son has a few years to worry about that. He is in eigth grade now and almost hitting 80 lbs. Thanks again!
