It might be the Kyle show at 10/64 this year. Kyle Macy and Kyle Armstrong. I am sure there are others as well.

SlamBam is right on the comment for 10/64 by saying "others as well". The A bracket at Hutch for 10/64 seemed to be more loaded with state champs, placers, and qualifiers than any we have ever seen. In fact, everyone in the A bracket was either a placer or qualifier for state, and there were two state champs! One to add to the watch list would definitely be Chris Burley (Great Bend??). He took first in that bracket at Hutch. It will be interesting to see who wrestles at Salina and how they place. One thing is for sure, whoever takes state in 10/64 this year should be mighty proud!

Who were the 10/64 contestants and placers at
the Hutchinson Tournament? It does not appear
Hutch results will be posted. Who were the
state champs and how did they do?
Any info would be appreciated.
Totally agree that 10/64 will be a loaded and
a very tough weight again this year. Salina TOC could be a good indicator of who the fravorites will be.

If I am recalling correctly, the state champs were Kyle Macy (2003 and 2004-1st both years) and Jayston McClure (2003 1st and 2004 2nd). Chris Burley, Regis Weiss, Zach Sanders were placers and qualifiers were Adrian Lange, Rice County, McCloud Nicholas, Ellsworth, and Garrett McEachern Newton.
Chris Burley beat Kyle Macy and eventually won the tournament. I am not sure what Jayston McClure did.
I agree. Salina will be an intense show. The only thing is, it can be a false indicator due to KS kids being beat out by kids from other states. Because, undoubtedly, kids from other states are only going to come if they are awesome like Gary Wayne Harding. We do like this tournament though, because it can be very humbling and helps our son see where he is at and where he needs to improve before subs.
