Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Washburn Rural Wrestling Reunion

Washburn Rural wrestling is going to have its first ever Wrestling Reunion next Wednesday, January 29th from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. It will take place in the High School cafeteria prior to the "Senior Night" dual against Topeka High.

We would love to have all former wrestlers, coaches, and families present for this first ever event. If you know of someone who has ties to Washburn Rural wrestling encourage them to come.

Former Wrestling Coach Ray Glaze to Attend Reunion!

Former WRHS wrestling coach who served for 20 years as head coach at Washburn Rural has confirmed he will be attending the first ever alumni reunion. Coach Glaze served as the head wrestling coach at Rural from 1976 until his retirement in 1995. This will be a great opportunity for Rural wrestlers from the 70's, 80's, and 90's to reconnect with each other and their former coach. Spread the word!!!
