Can anyone tell me how this high school state seeds their tournament? I know in youth district 1 will go vs district 3 ect. Do they do that in high school?

They don't quite do that in high school! It is not seeded, but the regions are paired randomly at each weight.

In other words, Region A will be paired with Region B and some weights, and Region C at some others, and Region D at some others. They draw for who is region A, B, C, and D after regionals are complete.

This was last year, I assume it is the same this year, a random draw for which regional is which letter.

4A regional # mats

Burlington = 3
Colby = 2
Holton = 3
Winfield = 3

How do you know how many mats a regional is gonna run?

Just guessing... all I'm sure of is Colby. Feel free to confirm/deny, but I would be surprised if it were different.

Winfield will run 3 to the semi finals. Will have semi's on 2 on Friday. Will run 3 for the backside until the consi finals and then go down to 2, and 1 for the finals.

How about some predictions for 113 @ Winfield? others?
