Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle wrestlers under fire

Hello wrestling community, this is Coach Ed from the Wichita Blue Knights. I usually don't bring any troubles to the forefront anymore, but this is one I think is needed. We have 2 little boy's on our team that wrestle with us that had a great mishap this evening. They had a fire at their home this evening and they lost everything in the fire except for the clothes on their back, everyone except for a woman that was at their home got out the lady that was there suffered severe smoke inhalation. I would not ask or bring it in front of the world if it was not urgent. They are in need of clothing and everything a family needs for living, the Blue Knights are getting things together for them as a team, but they have 5 kids from 11 yrs old down to 5yr old twins. We can't get everything together so I am appealing to the wrestling world for help because we have been in it for along time and we have seen a lot of compassion come out of this state to take care of our little wrestler's in a time of crisis. Could you set up something at high school state this weekend so we can stop by and donate? Even if it is someone in the parking lot with a poster board sign from your club.

We have no been on the forum for a few days but the family is slowly getting back on their feet and the boys are able to get to practice still. We have had lots of donations of clothes and stuff and some money in the account, Thanks once again to our wrestling family that always steps up in the time of need.
