I Am originally from Kansas, but have ended up living my adult life in Missouri. I am trying to figure out how to get all of the Missouri Tournaments to be ran on Track Wrestling. So I am curious how did Kansas go from not using Track to using Track. And is it something that is mandated and required that every tournament use it. Or is it by choice, and if it is by choice. How did you guys get to the point were almost every one choose to use it?

Some people must like the hours it takes to bracket a tournament.

We had a chance to meet with Justin Tritz, the creator of TrackWrestling, when he was just starting to push the program nationwide. After some discussion, Justin agreed to offer Kansas a discounted price in exchange for us guaranteeing that all of our state qualifying tournaments (8 subdistricts, 4 district and state) used the program. Once our state tournaments started using the program, the club tournaments started adopting it. There are a small handful of tournaments who do not use TW, but the vast majority have adopted it for their events.

TrackWrestling now has a nationwide discount available to all clubs that are members of USAW, so an additional discount is not likely to be available as an incentive.
