Despite all of the snow this past weekend, we had over 300 wrestlers who participated in our 30th Annual Ark City Takedown Club Tournament. Thank you to everyone who came down in all of the snow and waited patiently. Considering all of the numerous changes to brackets due to over 170 scratches and the problems with the breaker in the concession stand, we hope you all had a great day of wrestling and will join us again next year.

A SPECIAL THANKS also to our fellow wrestling club volunteers who helped us make changes to the 90 brackets that had to be redone at the last minute on Saturday morning. Especially to the mom from Maize and to the coach from Winfield and anyone else who I might have overlooked that helped with changes. We appreciated your help so much. It is nice to see this spirit of cooperation between teams that might otherwise be rivals. Thanks again to everyone who participated.

I would like to thank everyone in Ark City for doing a great job.I realize there were numerous scratches to deal with,but you all came through like champs.Also, thanks for posting the tournament results.

I, too, would like to thank you. My son was really happy to finally be able to wrestle on a full-size mat. The gym for the 12U & 14U was great and the wrestling went really smooth. We will definitely be back next year.
