Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle ??? bracket set-up when less than 16 wrestlers

Can any tell me how to properly set up a bracket for state if there are less than 16 people in the bracket? We have a kid that has only 8 people in his bracket. Will we use just an 8-man bracket, or will we use the 16-man bracket and place BYES where there is no wrestler listed? Thanks for any help given.

Even if there are only 4 kids in the bracket? or will they do a round robin?

Four (4) or less wrestlers will be done as a round robin. Five or more wrestlers have exact sports they go on the bracket per our state kids rules (see master bracket under the listing of qualifiers).
