Wrestling fans had a blast at state this year! I am pretty sure that from top to bottom this is the toughest overall, and most entertaining 3-2-1A state I have witnessed. In past years the first round has been a pin fest. This year there were hot matches throughout the first round and most of the consolations. It seemed like there were overtime and entertaining matches all day long! My thanks to all the athletes and coaches!

Also Kudo's to all the MEL coaches and athletes! 7 Finalists, 4 of those were champs and 8 other state placers and 3 teams in the top 7. Not were we want to be, but closer than were we have been! Good Work!

It’s a great day to be alive

Lots of good matches, alot of tough brackets. Glad to see Coach of the year and Wrestler of the year go to such great people.
