This is just a thought I have been thinking about to help the state tournament out. Always room to improve the tournament.
1. Why is it that the light weights always get to wrestle first in the finals? Why can't the heavier kids get to wrestle in front of a large crowd. The last two years the heavier kids have the smallest crowds cheering. Can every other year change the order lighter weights first then the next year heavier weights.
Easy fix. Draw each year, on what weight you start at. They do it in HS dual tournaments. If it matches they previous year, draw again. Like the idea of starting somewhere other than light to heavy.
