Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Elementary Teach Position with Wrestling Available

Archbishop Bergan Catholic School, in Fremont, NE (25 miles NW of Omaha) is accepting applications for an Intermediate Grades Teacher for the 2015-2016 school year. This classroom teaching position will focus on instructing Fifth and Sixth grade students in the subject areas of Grammar/Writing and Social Studies in a departmentalized structure. Extra-curricular opportunities may be available (JH Head or an Asst. Varsity position may be open with this posting). The ideal candidate will support the school’s mission to instill passion, as exemplified by Christ for Faith, Knowledge, and Service.

This is a great opportunity for a coach to be a part of an up and coming program. We're a small, private school (about 120 kids in grades 9-12) in a town of 25,000. The varsity team has qualified 12 wrestlers for the state tournament over the past three years (5 in 2013, 3 in 2014, and 4 in 2015).

The youth program was started in 2010 and has grown to over 50 wrestlers in grades K-6 in 2014-15. We have 3 former high school varsity head coaches running with the youth program.
