Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Colorado Preseason Tournament

So we are hosting the 2nd annual Halloween Havoc
October 17th at Cherokee Trail High School 25901 E Arapahoe Rd, Aurora, CO 80016
Last year was a great year! we had a good handful of kids all around Kansas, Wyoming, Nebraska. And a bunch of Colorado kids.
split divisions freshman/sophomores and Junior/Seniors
It is a great warm up if you are going to Preseason Natoinals, Super 32, Freakshow or any other in betweeen!
This year we have contacted some colleges in the areas. University of Nebraska Kearney will make an appearance one of the best d-2 in the nation. Also Grand Canyon will also be in attendance. More colleges to come. it will be a great showcase to get your name out there.

Registration: Entry Fee is $30 on www.Trackwrestling.com by Friday, Oct. 16 at noon.
Weigh ins: 6:30-8:00 am (NO SATELITE WEIGH-INS) A $10 fee will be charged for re-bracketing after weigh-ins.
Wrestling: Will begin at 9 am at Cherokee Trail High School

Awards: Champions will get a unique “Halloween Havoc” prize, and 2nd-4th placers will receive medals.
Admissions: $5.00 for adults (Senior Citizens and Military are Free) Children $3.00 (Children 5 and under are free)
Weight Classes and Divisions: (High School Only) – There will be no weight allowance (scratch weight only) 95, 106, 116, 128, 135, 145, 155, 167, 185, 198, 220, 285
Juniors and Seniors (Grades 11 and 12)
Freshmen and Sophomores (Grades 9 and 10)
**Make sure each participant selects correct grade that you are currently enrolled in when registering**
Tournament format and other info: Participants will be placed into brackets, the tournament will be double elimination and the periods will be as follows: Championship Periods 2-1-1 and Consolation Periods 1-1-1
