I've seen these threads in the past and decided to start one. I'm by no means an expert so I'm going off of rankings/records, plus the few matches I've watched this year. I threw in some upsets to make things interesting. These are projections based on the brackets. Some kids will be below kids that they might be better than, but with how the brackets are set up they might not place higher.

Miller getting fourth at heavyweight? That's a bold call.

Not doubting anyone, but this is state. Nothing is given. Upsets will happen.

It's been said elsewhere, but that Dodge Regional made this team race CLOSE!!! I believe the top 4 teams will be separated by only 25 total points!

Oops on the predictions!

Quarterfinal - Drake Taysom (Gardner-Edgerton) 29-11 won in sudden victory - 1 over Jerad Habben (SM-Northwest) 37-6 (SV-1 7-2)

And that puts Taysom in the top 6. Good for him

No one predicted Kimber from Campus to even place and he made the finals. Great run from him

He placed 4th at Regionals in Dodge City. He had to win 2 very hard matches before knocking off an Undefeated kid (14-7) from South to make the finals. Truly a great run in the State Tournament. Oh, and he weighed 190....

It's never easy to be a state finalist!
