Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School A Mid-Summer Mat Bash 2016

I would like to invite your team/club to our summer dual tournament. It is a FOLKSTYLE dual tournament July 28-30, 2016. You can use your MS kids through to your OUTGOING SENIORS! Adidas is our main sponsor again for 2016! They will give out 20 sublimated singlets to the Champion Team, a pair of shoes to the lower weight OW, and a pair to the upper weight OW. FLO will also be streaming LIVE!

90, 98, 105, 110, 118, 125, 133, 142, 152, 165, 175, 185, 205, 285

We will run 3 pools of 7 teams, 10 mats, and you get 12 matches in a single weekend! Bring your HS team or your All-Star Team.

Our host motel is giving us a rate of $42.50 + tax, and that is good for 4 people to a room. That breaks down to less than $12 per kid, per night.

Coaches Kit Harris and Cody Parks are bringing down 2 teams!

If anybody going down from Kansas could use some extra bodies, let me know I have 3 young men from Seward, Nebraska that were all state qualifiers (1 placer) and could be in some of the lower weights like 110-133 range.

Just let me know and I will get you information for sure.

Greg, I've taken 2 & 3 "Team KS" teams to this tournament the past couple years. It is a great tournament and a great time. I will be in touch about Dylan. We would love to have him on our roster.

This tournament is a great event. The host works very hard to make it all a great experience for all. Great competitions from a lot of states, nice awards, lot of mats, and most importantly, lot of matches!

The Harvey Twisters (IL) are bringing 2 teams.

Best Trained (Allen HS from Allen, TX) has given a verbal commitment! Allen has had a stranglehold on the large division Texas State Championship for several years now, at least 5 or 6 in a row. They were tied for 9th at the 2015 KC Stampede.

Team St. Louis will back for the 3rd year in a row!

Sorry for the late response. From what I hear, the 2 teams from Nebraska will consist of an all star Omaha team and an all star "rest of Nebraska" team.
