for my money it's either Salina TOC or Battle for the Belt, they both cap at the same number roughly and both are in an arena environment hard to pick one over the other

Has the Wichita Classic lost it's luster over the years?

speaking of kick ass KS kids tournaments I hope someone jumps on the opportunity afforded by BluHawk arena in Overland Park and negotiates for a tournament there early in its life cycle to secure a relationship with KS USA wrestling that lasts that should be a top notch place for a top notch tourney outside of the state series

perhaps the Blue Valley district high school coaches should get together to bring a premier high school tournament to this facility!

They need the parade of champions to come back, the kids loved that. It made the tournament run long but it also made it special. Also the pictures after and put the pics up on a web site the way major tournaments do.
Who run Bartertown!

I would have to say the Battle for the Belt at Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, KS held by Maize is the toughest tournament. There are some studs from many different states showing up each year, and it only keeps getting bigger and better. The venue is outstanding, and it is very well ran.
It comes with great regret to say the Wichita Classic has fallen in a huge way. Sadly, I would not even rank this a top 3 tournament in Kansas now a days. This says a lot considering this tournament was the toughest one around by far a decade ago.
