Wrestlers can bring in 1 Gatorade or water and 1 protein bar or breakfast bar into Bicentennial Center. NO POWERADE!

Probably not a venue sponsor? In our school facility we can only sell Coke products but we would never tell visitors they could only bring in Coke brands.

The greed and ignorance of The Bi-Centenial Center never ceases to amaze me.

It gets worse. So you can't bring any food into the arena and then the concessions were understaffed by volunteers/fundraising types. You had to wait in line half an hour to get a hot dog or a bottle of water. Saw multiple kids say they didn't eat much since they didn't have time/desire to wait. This is a great tournament. Competition is second to none for Kansas tournaments. Refs were above average. But every year the food/water/concessions is a joke. Also making coaches pay $10 to coach is a bad idea too. Volunteer all season and then pay to be matside. Give certified coaches a band and no one else.
Minor gripes to an otherwise great tournament.

I would agree On the coaches passes. It is ridiculous that they only gave 2 passes for 5 kids. Our club took 7. All 7 were on 7 different mats. We had to purchase an extra pass. Good thing we did, several times it was a challenge between three coaches. I think they need to reevaluate this concept. As far as running tournament and competition, tournament was ran excellent. Not a big fan of the bi centennial center.

My son and I have been going to the TOC for eight years. This was his last year to attend. I wanted to thank the Salina Wrestling Club thanks for all the memories your tournament have given to my son and I both good and bad ones. He has become a better wrestler and I a better coach with attending your tournament. You can not ask for a better ran big one day tournament.

As far as the Bi-Centenial Center goes you have to be smarter than the Smart Security staff. Leaned that lesson after my son's first year at TOC. Been getting food and drinks in for seven years now. Pretty easy to do. Good luck the rest of the season. Thanks again Salina Wrestling Club.

The Bi Centennial center will have always have a bunch of memories for our family....memories of both happiness and sadness for our family. That tournament will humble some of the best. I have seen kids that were 3, 4, or 5 time Kansas state champions get 4th, 5th or 6th place at TOC. I have also witnessed way too many dads and coaches go to far with their kids at this tournament. I will add this was by far the earliest we ever left the facility...and we were one of the last brackets completed.
