This is just a reminder that Columbus Mini-Wrestling Club will be hosting the Roger Bower Memorial Wrestling Tournament on January 24th. This will be our 30th year, we always run a nice tournament.
Deadline for entries is Wednesday January 21st, but we always take entries up till thursday afternoon as we bracket our tournament thursday evening. Weigh-ins will be Friday from 6:00pm till 8:00pm and Saturday from 6:30am till 8:00 am
New this year we have already arranged to have our results posted on the internet.
Wrestling will begin at 9:00am (we have started on time the last 5 years).
Custom made medals will be handed out at the table immediately following your final match for 1st thru 4th.
Due to the difficulty in seeding, we do allow a challenge for second place in bracketed weights, (not round robins). If the 3rd place wrestler's loss was to the eventual champion they may challenge for second place.
There is generally a lot of District 1 kids at our tournament, as well as kids from Missouri, and Oklahoma.
