Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion College NAIA preliminary brackets

I think only 2 guys have more than 40 matches. There is a reason for that think about it if your thinking about encouraging 80-100 matches per year. After so many miles on the tires or body parts the tread starts getting thin or the engine starts knocking a bit.

I only counted 9 wrestlers (out of an estimated 320 wrestlers) from the 2016 NCAA DI brackets that had 40 or more matches. Just interesting data for myself - I would think it is worthy of paying attention to.

The Big Ten 2016 brackets only 1 wrestler had 40 or more matches.
