I am assuming that District 1 will do the split tournament format again this year. If this is correct, I am interested in knowing what age groups will run in the morning session and what age groups will run in the second session.

The flier doesn't say anything about a split, but I suppose that doesn't mean there couldn't be. Usually they let you know, though. You could e-mail Kevin Seybold, tournament director, at seybolds@mobil1.net

Thanks, KCWrestlersMom, but I think he is responsible for the Sub-District and I was really curious about the District tournament the following weekend in Ottawa because that is the same weekend as the NCAA tournament in Kansas City.

Thank you, he is going to need some good luck since we all know it gets tough from here on out. I just wish I had thought about Districts a little more before I purchased those NCAA tickets.

A split format is when part of the age groups wrestle in an early session and there is a second session for the remaining age groups.
If you've never been beaten, you've never been far away enough from home.

The District 1 tournament will be a split format as voted on by the clubs. 8's, 10's, and 12's will be in the morning with 14's and 16's in the afternoon.
