Welcome to 4a!! Where rankings really don't matter. Mainly because they are so screwed up. A little homework and effort men.

We sent emails to every 4A head coach, and had numerous coaches respond to our emails about projected weights for guys. We also had many that didn't respond, so we made our best guess at their weight class. Pre-season rankings are based on last year's state tournament as well as some off season tournaments. There are guys that will wrestle different weight classes, but let's keep in mind these are PRESEASON rankings. Alpha weigh-ins haven't even been conducted yet. Not sure what other "homework" needs to be done.
If you have information that we overlooked or are not aware of, please send to anyone on the ranking committee and we will look at it.

The easy way out is to let this go to outside resource. It was ALWAYS the best solution. Every minute a coach has to spend ranking wrestlers is a minute he could be using to make his team better. Outsource the rankings to those who want to focus on making them what they should be instead of some best guesses.

There are multiple guys ranked in the All-Class rankings that are in different weight classes than head coaches sent us in emails. Let's not assume any rankings are perfect before the season even begins.
Again, if you have any information that can be part of the solution, and not part of the problem, please feel free to contact anyone on our committee.

Welcome to 4A....you are lucky they got out before the second week of competition. The solution is let Chief do it, he rarely misses high quality wins/losses and this group does it on a weekly basis.

It's a new year, we have new rankers, we have some rankings out based off of the data we have, rankings will be updated as the season goes...Lets wait and get some results and more data before we start bashing the system. Any input that HELPS the rankers is appreciated and recommended. Alpha weigh ins this week, let us know anticipated weights.

I for one am confident that the 4A rankings are in good hands. These coaches are actively soliciting and receiving information from coaches, wrestlers and fans. Many of the differences in the weights for the All-Class v KWCA rankings are due to the wrestler messaging their intended weight vs the coaches expectation. One thing is for sure, changes will happen early and often. Send your info to these 4A rankers! Let's all get on board for the promotion and advancement of the greatest sport on earth!

Now that alpha weigh-ins are done, and we've had a couple days of practices and have a better idea where guys will be, please send any rankings information to our committee. Thank you!
