Who can win the team title?
Also, this page could use a polish up. My goodness.

On paper, Derby has the nod but the bracket placements can put a big spin on things. Olathe North has closed the gap a bit with Derby losing their 126 and the Eagles improving. The top five teams could all rise up! Never count out the Ole mat coach in Hat town.

Should be a real brawl in Wichita!

Great question, Boach. To figure out the answer, I locked myself in my mom's basement and did really high level math stuff. After lots of beeping and booping and 10,000 simulations from my computer, the answer is

TEAM TOP HAT

Also, don't listen to Rief Chenegade, the guy is barely involved in 6A wrestling at all and definitely doesn't have access to my algorithm.

No podcast this year.

This is going to be a very close team race! The bracket placements matter. I believe that Derby, Olathe North and Washburn Rural are basically a coin toss on winning it all. Manhattan has also risen as of late with their 195, 220 and 285 gaining valuable mat time and seem to be peaking. The reign of Garden City dominance looks like it will take a break this year, but if you know Carlos Prieto and the spirit of those Garden City young men, they will be leaving marks on guys all weekend. I have to give a shout out to an unranked team that really deserves to be ranked. Haysville Campus will be bringing it to Hartman Arena. They qualified 11 and are my sleeper pick to place in the top 10.

I can tell you one thing. We have many passionate coaches that have poured their lives into their teams. The payoff is here....

KANSAS PROUD!
