The NJCAA has drawn the brackets for the 2018 NJCAA National Tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa on Friday and Saturday February 23-24, 2018. You can look over the brackets and find your favorite junior college wrestler and/or team at the following site: http://www.njcaawrestlingcb.com/tournament.asp#gogoneo

So are they just seeding the champions from the various qualifiers? Heavyweight I noticed Ogderek from NW Tech is unseeded, and will get the #4 guy second round.

This tournament has always been unseeded. District champions are away from district champions and returning all americans are away from other returning all americans. Unless there was a change last year, the seeding numbers in the posted brackets do not mean anything. It is a random draw.

Thanks Coach. I have seen some potential second round match ups that look nuts and wondered.

http://static.psbin.com/8/0/mza4mk5vindjbd/NJCAA_Wrestling_Brackets-2018.pdfI counted around 36 guys from Kansas Colleges and I know there are other guys from Kansas high schools at colleges like NEO. So again keep up the hard work in the classroom and on the mats! Time to make your own luck!

Thanks Coach! I thought I remembered something about that being passed at last years meeting. It is a start for sure. Good luck today and tomorrow in Council Bluffs!
